Discount based on product variation

Hi,
I have set up discount tables that are applied based on the variation of the product.
I noticed that if I add to cart multiple simple products, the quantities of the simple products are added together and the discounts change.
To limit the discounts application to the simple product I have to insert the rule “based on product”, but in this way I obtain the previous result on the variationns.
Is there a way to apply the rules to the simple products and variations?
I would like each line in the cart to be treated as an individual, whether it is a simple product or a variation.
