Hi indosta!
The latest version of the plugin (3.10) does indeed contain a number of new strings that did not existing in past versions. That said, we fully rely on submissions from the community to keep our translations as updated as possible. You can how complete each language is here.
In the meantime, here’s the process for updating and submitting language files for the plugin–we do offer free licenses for submissions that get included in upcoming releases. 🙂
Cheers!
Geoff
I would like to have the site in English and in Italian language. I have uploaded the file of my language but i don’t see any changes on my site. What I have done is this: I have downloaded the file .po from here is amended by adding the translations according me right (with Poedit), then i loaded both file . po that the file .mo in the folder of WP (wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang) but still I see the words in English and not in the italian language.
How can i replace some words that I see in english with words in Italian?
It seems you arent translating the right words…
If im not wrong upcoming events are two seperate words in the .po file…
are u sure u have translted the word upcoming ??

But in what folder do i have to insert (with FTP) the file tribe-events-calendar-it.po and the file tribe-events-calendar-it.mo ?
Hi
Follow this path wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\lang
Download this file with po edit
tribe-events-calendar-it_IT.po
and then compile it and upload the .mo file in the same folder.
Or Simple use loco translate plugin and look out the events calendar Italian lang file and there you can just directly translte it.
