Disappearing subscribers

Hi all,

We sent out a newsletter at the end of May, and went to send another today and noticed the numbers of subscribers on one of our lists had decreased by around 30%. No huge numbers of people unsubscribing, and when I check the previous newsletter as to who it went out to, a lot of the subscribers are listed as ‘null’.

How can our list drop this many with hardly anyone unsubscribing?

Edit: Just wanted to add, none of these that were removed were previously listed as ‘unconfirmed’ or similar – there is a couple but not 30%.
