disabling comments

    Hello,

    I just downloaded the Accelerate theme, and I need to take the comments out of the pages. I tried disabling them in the settings but they still show up on pages.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi anna,

    There are two different ways to disable comments.

    1. Disabling the comments on the whole site.

    For that you need to go to:

    Setting > Discussion > Default article setting > Untick “Allow people to post comments on new articles” > Save Changes.

    2. Disabling the comments on Single Pages/Posts.

    For that you need to go to the individual page/post where you want to disable comment > Edit the page > At the top right open “Screen Options” > Check “Discussion” > Then you will see a discussion box at the bottom of the page. > Untick Allow comments there > Save changes.
