Hi hefind. The theme responsive media queries are set as follows:
At 1200px the right sidebar collapses
At 960px the left sidebar collapses
At 720px the main menu and topbar collapse
At 480px the sidebars are expanded and displayed below the content
So basically what you’d need to do is remove the existing s1, s2 and sidebar elements from the 1200 and 960 media queries, then modify the same elements that are in the 480 media query to apply to each sidebar, then move those elements up to the 1200 and 960 media queries respectively. This should all be done in a child theme so you’d also need to enqueue your child theme responsive.css file using a function in the child theme functions.php file.
Hi bdbrown,

i really am a noob in this stuff
If that’s the case then you really don’t want to start with a major change in theme structure like this. The changes you want to make are significant and really beyond the scope of what assistance I can provide here on the forum. Hueman is a great theme the way it’s designed but, if you start changing the structure, you need to be concerned with things like background images and negative margins which can cause significant issues if you don’t change all the right elements at the same time. And that’s even more complicated when you’re working with media queries. I’m not saying that what you want to do can’t be done; it’s a matter of how much time and effort you want to put into it. And, when you’re done, you’ll have to apply the same changes to your child theme again if the main theme responsive.css file changes in any way during an update. If you want the sidebars to do something other than what they’re designed to do, I’d recommend you look for another theme that has that functionality either built-in or as an option.
Is there a premium support? I really need this done..and am willing to pay for the support..
Got someone who fixed this thanks!!
