Disable sub-directory WordPress Site

Hello there!

I’ve installed WordPress in a subdirectory ‘wp’ on my domain http://daksh.me. I’ve also managed to point my home site http://daksh.me to the subdirectory installation using the guide on WordPress.org.

But, the problem is that now my website resides on both http://daksh.me as well as http://daksh.me/wp. I think this is going to affect my site badly as there are two addresses pointing to the same website.

How do I solve this problem? I would like to keep the website’s address at http://daksh.me but the WordPress installation should reside in the ‘wp’ directory itself.
