    Hi,

Any cache plugin can be used, but it doesn’t make sense to do minification twice, because it can create conflicts and your server is doing double the work.

If you want to use FVM, please disable all and every merging and minification on the theme and your cache plugins.

Thanks Raul! I’m running into issues on one site where portions of the page don’t load, trying to find the cause. Everything loads when I disable FVM, so there must be a setting to tweak.

Just to be clear, you’re not saying don’t use Cache Enabler, correct? FVM provides merging and minification, while Cache Enabler handles caching. Do I have that right?

I would suggest using w3 total cache instead of cache enabler.
You are free to select most options, except merging and minify on any cache plugin.

Hi Raul, thank you, I’m familiar with W3, it was the first caching plugin I used years ago. However, I gave up on it because it was so tedious and time-consuming, although I understand it’s highly configurable, and may be the best if one wants to take the time. But Cache Enabler came out on top in this recent comparison that included W3. I’ve also tried Rocket, Fastest Cache, and Super Cache. Cache Enabler gave me the best test results and it has a dead simple setup process.
