Hi EliteGent,
That isn’t new. ATUM always worked by getting the same taxes configuration you’ve set in your WooCommerce settings and this cannot be changed for now (at least not without custom development).
However, we’re developing a premium add-on that will include the ability to specify distinct taxes per PO and many other features.
Best Regards,
Salva.
Hello Salva,
Thank you for the response, we’ve never had this issue before until this last update, but the thing is, it does not make any sense to add taxes to a Po, companies don’t pay taxes when they import merchandise or in bulk order.

Hi @gentlemako
The only change that we added to PO taxes in the latest version is that now it takes into consideration your company’s postal code and city when calculating the taxes (according to your WC configuration) and, before, it was only checking the country and the state.
This was a request from another user that had distinct types of taxes based on the state.
And, perhaps you don’t need to add taxes to PO but we know dozens of other users that are using them and also requesting us to add distinct types of taxes depending on the Supplier’s address (a functionality that will come with the PO Premium add-on).
Anyway, if you create a PO and the taxes are added automatically to it, you can remove them manually if you don’t need them. This works in the same way as WooCommerce orders: if you hover the tax column header, you’ll see a remove button that will get rid of them.
But, please, make sure you don’t click the “Recalculate” button or the taxes may be added again.
Best Regards,
Salva.
