The basic problem is that members-list.php template is receiving an empty “data”. I have tried to follow the code from the shortcode to sending the information for the template to pick up. I have difficulty with javascript. I think the query is not working, but I cannot see how.
Note that this is true on local and live. I have disabled the slightly modified copy of the template in the theme.
Can someone help me with this? I have ascertained that the user information is all correct.
Thanks, Miss Veronica, I shall do that (not at home at the moment): but please note that a version of the site from before the update of the plugin works perfectly.
I can not test the member directory on your website because of the access restriction.
Please take screenshots or/and share details of the directory AJAX request. You can find this request in the “Network” tab of the browser tools. We need information from these subtabs: Headers, Request, Response.
Send us error details from the browser Console tab if there are JavaScript errors. Send us error details from the debug.log file if there are PHP errors.
The console does not provide enough information. Without detailed data of the directory AJAX request, I cannot be certain. However, the console indicates that the server responded with a status of 403 “Forbidden”.
This may happen if you use an outdated custom template of the member directory (the members.php file) that is not compatible with the version 2.14.0. Try to use the default member directory template:
Verify that there is no custom members.php template in your theme. A path from the root directory is wp-content/themes/{active_theme}/ultimate-member/templates/members.php where {active_theme} is your active theme folder.
Make sure that the “Default Template” option is selected in the directory “Template” setting.
I have removed all php files relating to this plugin from my theme. The member.php file in templates is @version 2.14.0 Still presents empty data to the list template.
