    Hello Ross,

I was wondering if you could help me with something. Currently I added an event list on my sidebar, using the widget with the settings within the Event Display Builder. I set the list to show only the title and date.

The problem I’m facing is that I also want to create a page with a list of events with more details (i.e. title, date, start/end time, location etc).

It seems that the only shortcode available in a post/page is [google-calendar-events] with 4 parameters, and the output with the shortcode is based on the settings within the Event Display Builder. So in my case both lists on the sidebar and page contents only displays title and date. Is there a way to set different outputs with the shortcode or other ways?

Also, I came up with a workaround to add an identical feed so it retrieves the same calender but gives a different ID to the plugin, and set the view of the list within the post with the Event Display Builder for this ID. It seems to be working, but would this cause any kinds of problem (i.e. bandwidth-wise etc)? Thanks.

    Hello,

Your workaround of adding another feed with the same feed URL is currently the best way of doing this.

As long as you don’t have the cache duration set too low, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about in terms of performance or bandwidth. It could be an issue with many feeds and / or a low cache duration, but if you just have the two feeds, there shouldn’t be any problems.

    Hello Ross,

Thank you for your swift reply. OK, I guess I will do it this way then. Cheers.
