different thumbnails

    so I have this list of blog, I am curious because the thumbnail for my previous post perfectly fits, why when I added new blog post the image is not the same?

    though the size of these images are all the same when uploaded. and the first 2 lower blogs fits right while the top blog didnt.

    Hi there,
    I see what you mean.
    That might happen for different reasons, e.g. if you’ve uploaded the previous images while using a different theme, in that case the theme thumbnail sizes were not generated for those images.
    See the theme’s default image sizes here:

    You can either give the following option a try (when checked will force the use of the featured image original size)
    Appearance -> Customize -> Main Body Design -> Post List Design and Content: Blog, Archives, Search Results -> POST LIST DESIGN –
    Display featured images in their original dimensions in post lists

    or modify the theme default image sizes with this plugin.
