Hi,

I installed Hueman theme and created a child-theme. I can’t figure out how to assign different menus/widgets to the secondary sidebar depending on which page I am. I find this a very obvious thing u wanna do with this theme but the customizer says “This option is always customized sitewide and cannot be reset.”

Is there a way to do it using child-theme or some other way?

Hi,

thanks for your reply. It won’t let me assign “page only” menus to the secondary sidebar, as this seems to be locked to sitewide (quoted the error in 1st post).

I can enable or disable the secondary sidebar page-specific, but not its content, which I’d really like to do. I can also define page specific menus in other locations like top or header but I really like the secondary sidebar.

For example a content related “more” menu with links and stuff, and on another page a different menu with different content related links.

Please help 🙂

Hi,

If you are referring to the menu that shows up in the sidebar when using the child menu page template.

It cannot be customize as it’s created using wp_list_pages function
