Hi. At the moment my new blog is not open. I switched the maintenance mode off to test it and it’s all okay, apart from the fact the images which comes with the shared post is not what I see in the preview before sharing, but a squared one with a cut part of the website logo I use in the header. Unluckily I cannot spread the url (the blog is not officially open), but I can give you them privately or images, thanks.

  • Hi there! Could you please share some screenshots of the issue so that we can check it? Please also note that if it’s a maintenance view, it’s the usual – for example, Facebook hasn’t scraped it yet.

    Please let us know. Thanks!

Yes, thanks. Please give me a private mail to send them. As I told I cannot share both contents and website urls yet, thanks.

Please share them to help (at) ultimatelysocial [dot] com then. Thank you!

    Just done now, thanks.

Thank you! Yes, it seems to be a maintenance mode related thing. Once your blog will be live, Facebook will scrape the image and sharing will be working properly. If not, please feel free to open a new topic – we are always happy to help!

Hello. I just put the blog online to test it for about 24h and the result was the same. If you’re telling Facebook needs some days to correctly scrape it okay, thanks…but since I’m giving a deeper look inside the plugin I’m afraid it’s due to a limitation for the free version.
I read: NO IMAGE – Available in premium – click to learn more

Once your website will be live, the proper image should be scraped and shown when sharing on Facebook. You can also use Facebook Debugger for faster scrape. Please note that sometimes it may not work automatically – once the website is live, please try Facebook Debugger to see what it currently pulls. The feature you are referring to from this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ just allows more options to define the image that is getting shared.
