• I am not looking for support. I have used (or at least tried to) the plugin, and this is my review based on my hands-on experience.

On the first site, which works just fine and has a backup plugin that performs a similar task to this one, the plugin said the hosting environment wasn’t “good enough” and didn’t even want to start.
On the second site, a different host, it started and then hung. No error message, no email sent to the address I gave it. So I retried several times. Hung every time.

Can’t recommend it. Won’t use it anymore.

    Hello @gordano,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

To help clarify what happened during your transfer attempts, the plugin runs a system pre-check before initiation. If the source hosting environment lacks required PHP modules, has overly restrictive execution limits, or runs an outdated PHP version, the plugin halts the transfer to prevent data corruption.

If you would like to inspect what happened on the stalled site, you can view the detailed migration logs directly within your WordPress installation directory. You will find the log file located at /wp-content/siteground-migrator.log on your source website.

We respect that you are not seeking assistance at this time. However, if you ever decide to try again, please feel free to reach out to our team directly through your SiteGround Client Area under the Help Center.

    Best Regards,
    Daniela Ivanova
