    So, I recently used this plugin and while I was able to reduce over 5 GB worth of space so far, I noticed that the unused WebP files remain.

    Any help with this issue will be appreciated.

    I noticed that the unused WebP files remain.

    You are posting here, so I guess you are using the Free version. WebP images aren’t registered as Media entries, and they are independent files. If you like to remove them, you will need to use the Filesystem Method, only available in the Pro version.
