Did not get a featured box

Hey Arundeep. Have you already checked under “Screen options” at the top of the Add Event screen? that’s the first thing I’d suggest; make sure that there isn’t a “Featured image” panel hidden. If it is hidden, check the box to enable it and you’ll be set.

If no “Featured image” option appears there, it means your theme doesn’t allow for featured images. In that case you’ll either want to reach out to the theme dev to see if there are instructions for getting featured image support added to custom post types, or find another theme that has featured image support built-in.
