Development copy and multisite

Hi,

I’m running WP multisite on my localhost, and on a server. I have one site on my localhost that i would like to point to one site on my server.

This way I can edit my theme locally using the data on the server and not have to push and pull the database all the time.

There’s something in the codex for how to do this on WP 2.9 but nothing I can see regarding multisite capabilities. What do I do? Thanks.
