DEV Area & LIVE Area using single Database w/ same content

    Hi There,

    I was wondering if it is possible to set up a development area such as
    dev.mydomainname.com

    and a live url such as mydomainname.com

    with having both of these wordpress using the same database/content.

    My purpose of the “DEV” area is for testing purposes such as updating the theme or templates and making sure the pages look good before pushing it live.
