Are you saying the code is moving on the page?
Make sure you aren’t pasting inside other codes.
Try the plug-in called adsense deluxe and you can put adsense in with your posts.

The code is not moving around, I paste it in and save it. I go back to check and it is not there and there are no ads on my site. I want to put the ads under the header before the blog starts.
Are you pasting the Adsense code into your document head (between the <head> and </head> tags)? If so, this will never work.
Where do I put it? I was pasting it in after <BODY>
Try it just before <div id="content" class="narrowcolumn">
I put mine on the main index template right under “get header”
Like this:
