desperate for help

I was trying to add some codes to the function.php of my theme (using sugar and spice pro) and now everything is mess up. was trying to use instruction from here

Having this error

I deleted the added code but still having same problem. I even added the same function.php code that was there as i had copied it.

wordpress is so difficult to handle. someone please help

worst when i tried to access site i get
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.

so i cant access admin area and the site. what to do?
