Desktop to mobile device issues

    I know nothing about coding and purchased the Gateway theme because I thought it was responsive. I am having a few issues….

    1) The hero image seems to not be responsive when “fixed”. This is a real shame because it is such a beautiful setting. Is this a normal occurrence?

    2) The shortcut [rescue_spacing size=”40px”] for the hero image is no longer working for me. It is displaying as text when inserted into the text widget, under hero image, instead of following the code.

    3) I also notice that the logo image doesn’t scale proportionately along with the hero image when the site is accessed from a mobile device. Any help would be appreciated.

    I did just spend $50 on this theme so it concerns me that is isn’t completely responsive. I’m sure there are tweaks I need to be making. Thanks.

    I also just noticed that when you use the shortcode in the text widget to increase the hero image size it cancels out whatever is in the code to make the hero image scale correctly on a mobile device.
