hi when i upload the product description using xls file, the formatting is ignored and all the words appear together (html stripping). how do i overcome this. Do i have to import using csv instead?

You should be able to solve this using one or both of the options in the “Advanced Options” section under the content area: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f961h01y6nu3fs1/keep_line_breaks.png?dl=0
