    Using version 4.9.0 on fully updated WP 7.0.1. I get the following error message displayed on my admin page:


    Deprecated: WPMailSMTP\Providers\Sendlayer\QuickConnectUsage::maybe_flag_limit_reached(): Implicitly marking parameter $connection as nullable is deprecated, the explicit nullable type must be used instead in /var/www/blah/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/src/Providers/Sendlayer/QuickConnectUsage.php on line 393

    Configuration error on my part or otherwise?

    I have deactivated the plugin for now as it was also appearing on the production site, not just the admin pages.

    Hi @elmussol ,

    Thanks for reporting this, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

    This seem to be a deprecation notice coming from PHP 8.4. We’ve checked the plugin functionality and we can confirm that the plugin still works fine. I’ve reported our devs on this, and they will fix this in the next release.
