    Hi team

I’m having trouble getting the Express Checkout to work and some users are experiencing an error notice on the afterpay portal website saying “Delivery option not provided”.

I use the Flexible Shipping plugin and I have 2 shipping zones for NZ, one for South Island and the other for North Island. They include all regions in this country so this shouldn’t be a problem?

After troubleshooting this for a while I can see that on the Cart page, only the country and region are selected by default. Could it be because it is missing the postcode? And if so how to I add it by default.

Regular checkout through the checkout page works fine.

Anyone else experiencing this? Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @johntatu,

    Thank you for your message.

The Afterpay plugin requires that a postcode be retrieved from WooCommerce when launching the checkout. Unfortunately, WooCommerce doesn’t do this automatically for NZ regions. One way to work around this is to update the shipping zone so that it is limited by postcode. If using the standard WooCommerce interface for setting up shipping zones, the North Island the range limit could be entered as 0001…6999 and South Island could be entered as 7000…9999. As the team is unfamiliar with the Flexible Shipping plugin, this may not be possible.

Alternatively a fallback shipping zone could be set up to cover all of New Zealand.

The team would be happy to assist with setting either of these options up if required. To facilitate this please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406

    Thank you.

    Thanks, team!

I have added all postcodes to the shipping zones and seems to have fixed the issue.

I do, however, have postcodes that target rural shipping so I’ll need to work around that.

Thanks for your assistance and fast reply, appreciate it!
