Deleting wp-admin on production

    I’m working on a WordPress site for a client that has their own production servers with staging/dev servers behind a VPN.

    With this setup, can I simply delete wp-admin from the production server? We could have an identical staging site that uses the same live database server, but staging would be accessible only through VPN and proxy. The proxy will make it so that we access the site using the exact same URLs.
