• hello! i’m just wondering., i have a website with an entertainment niche.., but i do have posts that dont belong to that field., i’m planning to delete them as so they dont appear in my archives anymore., and wont be accessible… would that affect my site? how much will i lose links? it’s about 150 posts… and i have 640+ posts now… is it necessary to delete those posts..so my site will be officially called Entertainment site? would Google find out those posts if i just hide them via excluding those in homepage and archives? maybe Google wont approve me if i have posts not relating to entertainment? i need help… asap… thanks!

If you delete the posts they go away. All internally generated lists, like categories and such, will self correct and remove he links. External links will, obviously, break.

Regardless – If the posts can’t be found, the link will be ‘broken’.

If you’re restarting the site, just bite the bullet, delete the 150 off topic posts, and move on. You can manually redirect them via .htaccess or by a redirection plugin.
