Deleting individual entries from cache

The supercache plugin seems to be working fine.

However if I individually select a file in the file list using the “X” to delete, nothing happens.

The file is not deleted.
No webserver error log entries appear.
The debug log shows no hint.
SELinux audit logs not a whisper.

Our environment has some permissions fun, and wp-config is one directory up on most people, but the lack of logging hints that it is something silly.

I’ll try a vanilla instance.

Noted also a clash with the environment variable names with Total Cache, which had clearly been installed and removed from the instance concerned, but that was cleaned up manually.
