deleting file

    When trying to delete a file that WF is reporting to me, I am getting this message :

    Could not delete file wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/media/moxieplayer.swf. The error was: unlink(/home/content/p3pnexwpnas06_data03/20/2929320/html/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/media/moxieplayer.swf): Permission denied

    Hi @hhurst,

    It seems the user the web server runs as doesn’t have sufficient rights to delete that file.

    According to the WordPress GitHub repository the file isn’t part of the current version standard package –it seems to be a remnant of previous WordPress versions.

    At this stage I suggest you log into your host via ssh, FTP or through cPanel in order to delete the file.

    I also recommend you get in touch with your hosting provider so they can help you investigate the presence of that file on the server.
