Deleting and article

I deleted a post in wordpress 2.9 using the the dashboard control panel which is still appearing in Google search results for “Defining Time” at http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/?p=13

I would like to delete it because I reposted the content at http://www.theimagineershome.com/blog/?p=2519 and the update version is not appearing on Google search. Instead it list the old site with the tile of define time with no content
