• I moved a text widget and it got deleted. I lost the code in it as well. Trying to find the code for the side bar of the header for Oxygen theme. The lower content just shot up to the top of the page and it looks terrible.

    I took over this site from a past editor and I’m not sure if there’s a back up anywhere. Where can I get the code for that element?

    Why is there no UNDO????

    Thanks!

    You are probably best off asking directly on the Oxygen support forums for the code, as it sounds like its unique to that theme and chances are the theme designer won’t see this post.

    The forum is – https://wordpress.org/support/theme/oxygen

    As for why is there no undo, it’s a good point maybe there should be some sort of history like post revisions. Not sure there are any plans to add such features at the moment, mainly because things like this happen so infrequently though when they do it’s a real pain!

    Hope you get the block back

    No one is responding in Oxygen support.

    I just want to know how to get the “Recent news” feed(now of the far left) back in the center and the social media widget to post on the far right.

    Do I have to reset the layout of the site? Will I lose all the edits of the Child Theme?

    I’m not good at code at all. Sorry for the noob issues!

    Under Appearance -> Widgets
    You can drag and drop widgets in the widget area, depending on your theme, if you leave a “sidebar” the name for the areas widgets are in and not always a sidebar (it can be confusing terminology) empty then widgets may shunt along, which could be whats happening in this case.

    Also give the folks in the Oxygen area a chance while frustrating for yourself, many people don’t look at the support forums over the weekend and they may well spend much of monday catching up.
