• Hi
I’ve accidentally deleted my username and password for my [ link redacted ] membership site.

I cannot get into to it at all.

I have tried ‘forgot password’. But it’s because I’ve deleted it, that it won’t reset.

I have my username and password – can WordPress please reset this from the back end.

    Many thanks
    Patricia

I’ve removed your link, you are using a domain name that’s infringing on the WordPress Foundation’s trademark. Please lose it and replace wordpress with wp or something along those lines.

See these links for more information.

There has to be some account there. Try these steps.

If you have access to phpMyAdmin then you should be able to see the user ID and can reset the password. See the phpMyAdmin section of that article.

Do you have a backup of the database ? If so then peruse the _users and user-meta tables.

Then there are several things you could do with phpmyadmin:
    – temporarily upgrade a user to administrator
    – extract from the backup the entries for your deleted user and use this SQL to reinstate your deleted user.
