    Hello!
I am using free version of wordfence and in the scanning process. I deleted the files by pressing the button “Delete delete-able files”. And now my site is vanished. Need help to recover my site. I don’t have any backup.
    Thanks

    Hi @muhammadarham122

Apologies for the delay in replying. In our documentation we recommend that you don’t delete files without backing them up first if you don’t understand what you are doing:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/scan-results/

Your hosting provider may create backups for you so you can ask them if they have backups that you can use.

If your hosting provider doesn’t create backups that you can use and they have not disabled PHP error logging for your hosting account then your PHP error logs may provide clues for any fatal PHP errors for missing files that your theme or any plugins need. If you see any fatal PHP errors errors for missing files then you can replace the missing files that you deleted. If you are not sure how to do this then your hosting provider may be happy to help or you may need the assistance of a WordPress website developer to do this for you.

If you used High Sensitivity scanning then this option warns you that this can generate false positives. Some plugin authors use encoding for legitimate purposes that hackers also use to hide their malicious code.

    Thank you.
