Deleted categories?!

    I logged onto my WordPress today to find that my categories are gone. Every post I have written is now ‘uncategorized’! Must say, I’m not happy about that… any solutions? I have my blog backed up, and even thought yesterday that I should have backed it up again, and didn’t…. any suggestions?
