• Hi folks!

I was wondering and searching for a way to delete my topic. I have been such a dummy. I filled in my real webadress instead of a test website and google is implementing this in it’s search results. When customers are searching for my website, they see this question!

Is it possible for a moderator to delete this topic? You would really really be my hero!

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

    Mitchell

It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from. Deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information but generally, your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn’t want to be public. I’m sorry but this is not an extreme case.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. I do understand that it isn’t the general policy to delete a forum post. However, there aren’t any contributions in my post/topic. There weren’t any answers given for my problem by the other forum members. The benefits for other users are practically zero because there is no solution for the problem back in the days. It was really a stupid mistake to fill in my real webadress instead of a testadress. This is a really big issue for me, so please, can you make an exception?

    Kind Regards,

    Mitchell
