Delete locations with no events?

We have a large user base that publishes events regularly. We regularly delete past events, but the database is filling up with locations that have no events. Is it possible to identify which locations do not have events?

Would it be possible to add a sortable admin column in the Events > Locations area that would show how many events each location has?
