    My site :http://www.unclefantazmo.com

Good! now that that’s out of the way

    My Problem:
WordPress is installed over my old site. There are conflicts because of this. but it has been so long since I originally created the site, that I no longer can recall all the files that are part of the old site. So I don’t think I can reliably just clear them all out.

    The question:
Can I delete EVERYTHING on the server and start with a fresh install of WordPress?
I am hosted on GoDaddy and I dont know if deleting everything will be a terrible idea or not.

If you could advise me on a better solution for why the internal links don’t work. That would be awesome.
    Thanks you.

    Hey Zelekhut,
in my experience when there is a conflict of old files on the server – it tends to be WordPress that takes over and displays – with the old files no longer working.

Getting a 404 error on the internal WordPress links could be related to your permalinks.

Could you try going to Settings > Permalinks and simply hitting the save/update button?
