Delete Category Without Deleting Products

    Hi,
    I am new to woocommerce and have a couple of questions.

    First, I had assigned 200 products to a category, and would like to delete this category and reassign these products to a different category. I did assign them to the new category, but when I select to delete the first category, the warning comes up that it will delete the products themselves. Is this true? Is there a better way to do this?

    Also, is there a way to backup the database within the woocommerce?

    If you delete a product category, it will not delete the products assigned to it. These products will just be “Uncategorized”.

    Also, is there a way to backup the database within the woocommerce?

    To backup your WooCommerce site, you can use a plugin like Updraft Plus or All-in-One WP Migration.
