• Clicking the “Delete Cache” link in the admin bar does not delete the cached files.

    WordPress 4.1 running Twenty Fifteen theme. WP Super Cache 1.4.2 activated. No other plugins activated.

    Steps to reproduce problem:
    * Log in to WordPress.
    * Click the “Delete Cache” link in the admin bar (to the immediate right of “New”)

    Expected results
    * Cache files deleted from cache directory

    Actual results
    * No discernible results. Cache files are not deleted. No error thrown to JS console or to PHP error log.

    Going to WP > Settings > WP Super Cache > Easy > Delete Cached Pages and clicking that “Delete Cache” button deletes cached pages as expected.

    Is anybody else experiencing this?

    Or can anyone else authoritatively confirm that the “Delete Cache” link is working as expected for them?

    The delete cache option in the admin bar only deletes the cache of the page you are on at the time, not the entire site cache.
    You’ll have to go to the plug in settings to do this.
