Delay code not working

Hey,
I follow the delay the prompt guide: https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/web-push-wordpress-faq#customizing-subscription-promptsbut it did not worked, i tried placing the code in header and footer etc but it just not work, do you have any live example where i can see this code in action?
