That is indeed strange. Please try the following:
Navigate to Settings > Permalinks and make sure you’re using the one labeled “Post name” (second from the bottom) https://drive.google.com/file/d/11pnyhmV9jy5mKnbE6Q-JTHalcWTsRuY9/view?usp=sharing
If this doesn’t help, you probably have a conflict with your theme or one of your plugins.
Try activating a default WordPress theme, just temporarily, like twentytwentyone and see if the problem goes away. If it does, there’s a conflict with your theme.
If the problem doesn’t go away, try deactivating all your plugins (except The Event Calendar plugins) and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you have a conflict with one of the plugins. You can reactivate them one by one until the problem comes back to figure out which one.
