Default Value for User Information

    Hi,

    Great addition to the CF7 plugin. I had a question though that I badly need a solution for. Is there a way to make the default value dynamically populate with the current logged in user’s username? Similarily I would like another hidden field that autopopulates with the user’s email so that I can use this field to send a confirmation email to the email that is populated.

    Thanks for the feedback and addition to the Plugin!

    Unfortunately I’m still having issues when trying to use the new default values. When I add “user_name”, “user_email”, etc. to the “Default value (optional)” field it does indeed autopopulate the form with that value but it’s populating the field with “user_name” and not dynamically changing to the logged in user’s name/email/etc.

    Can you provide any help with this?

    Nvm, I found my resolution in another thread. It seems changing the name of the hidden field affects the auto populate function. I’ve left the default naming of “hidden-xxx” and it’s working fine.
