Default port used

    Hi,

    I made a wordpress website with DIVI theme and just installed WP Mail SMTP, set the from email and left everything as default. so it’s using the default php mailer, I didn’t change anything else, emails are delivered and everything is working fine.
    However I was asked by my friend which port its using, as his company needs to know that info for troubleshooting, and I have no clue where I can check that information. Am I even using a port…? didn’t set anything up.

    Hi,

    if you are using the “Default (none)” mailer in our plugin, then the email is being sent by PHP and there is no port setting for it. Port setting is only needed for the SMTP mailer (“Other SMTP” in our plugin).
