    hi, first of all, i like the way the plugin work. it is easy to use and get quick translations. never the less, i have a problem with the default language. We chooesed default language english, because we wanted to get to an international community with the page which is actually in building at the moment. People should fill in a directory at the page. I can translate the entries very quick. but most of our users will be german, the second language we have. So they fill in german text to the entries.
    if i will translate them, they will apear as a greyedout field in english and i just can translate them to german which is silly for german text.
    So do i have to change the default language to german and loose every translation to this point? There must be an smarter way to that. i changed default language from wordpress and the users which do the entries to german, but it does not work, the text will stay as the english text in the translatepress translation page. How can i change this without losing all the entries i translated so far?

    short: if a german user with a german backend fill in a german text, it will be saved as the original english and can only be translatet in german. Is it possible to make the translation bidirectional? if i hvae a german text i willtranslate an ebglish text and if i have an english text i will fil in a german translation?

    Hi, i have to know if i can change default language if i buy a personal or a business licence or if i have tofind another translation plugin.
    it is difficult like it is at this time for me, could you please help me?

    We deeply apologize for the delayed response.
    There has been a great load on our support team in the past few days, but such a long reply time is very uncommon.

    This is not currently possible with our plugin, but I have added your request to our development list, so it might be implemented in a future version, but we can’t estimate when that may be.

    However, if you want, I can put you on the list and we will let you know when we launch this feature.
