Default Gallery Issue

Hola !
I have a homepage with 12 posts, each displaying a featured image, serving as thumbnails. I then made a gallery of those same pictures and inserted it in each of the posts using the same and identical shortcode. It works fine for first half of the posts, but post 6 only displays 6 of the 12 gallery items. Post 7-12 only display one gallery item. Anyone else having a similar problem?
The only thing is I’ve got the Hatch theme installed, no extra plugin(s).

Unfortunately, we cannot see what a site we do not have a link to displays.

Please provide a site link and some specifics.

Ok so my homepage is the following:

when clicking on the first (top left) post (kiwi thumbnail), you get the following, with gallery displayed:

the ensuing thumbnails behave correctly until number 7, the cup of coffee, only half the gallery is displayed:

and finally when clicking on the last (bottom right) black and white picture, only one gallery element is displayed:

the site is currently “offline”, and yes, the orange logo that I made use of is not mine and is subject to copyright, I just use it as a reference and will later replace it.

Unfortunately, images are not very useful as no one can see the code or what’s actually going on with the site. You might try asking on the Hatch forum here:

ok so its a theme based error then? thats what I was wondering about. I’m new to wordpress, I was just hoping it was a common gallery problem as besides the theme everything else is by default. I was sure that because so far the only application of the theme was purely visual, I hadn’t enabled anything fancy or combined with plugins I assumed it was due to a (default wp) gallery issue.

I’m not sure if it’s a theme issue or not – have you tried it in the twentytwelve theme to test that?

i will do that right now =) and just so you know, alienwp themes require paying account for support, so i’ll just stop using their theme altogether x)
