Support » Plugin: Stout Google Calendar » Deeper CSS changes?

  • Hello there,

I’m using this plugin and find the CSS hooks included aren’t extensive enough for my needs. Is there an way to extend more control over the calendar CSS?

I’d be fine with a style sheet or even hacking some PHP. Point me in the right direction if possible!

The most direct way to have greater control over the styles is to edit the gcalendar-wrapper.php file and insert your CSS anywhere between $calCustomStyle =<<<EOT and the closing EOT; I would recommend adding your CSS just prior to the EOT; so you can override previously set styles.

Also, Firebug or some other developer tool set for your browser will help tremendously in locating CSS selectors and their associated styles.

This is where I was looking as the most likely candidate. Future updates will overwrite this file though, correct? Is there a good place to put in an include to an external style sheet so I won’t loose all the additional styles, just the link? This would be my suggestion of a possible candidate to add to the plugin front end, a custom CSS file link entry.

    Great plugin!
