Decrease gutter between main column and sidebar

Do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

Once you have identified the CSS you need to over-write, you can add your new CSS to your child theme’s stylesheet.
