• I’m assuming that SermonBrowser has been forgotten and is now dead. Forum is disabled, this forum goes without answers and there is no way to contact. This is a REAL shame as I loved it’s layout better than the others out there. It’s ease of use was also a two thumbs up.
Please, if this is not the case, someone explain. I’m having issues with the player again and with the forum disabled, I have no way of getting help.

  • I think you may be right. Sad indeed. What’s your problem though?

Everything works except the player. It just shows a black bar. When the page first loads it does show the play triangle and other items. But, when the page is fully loaded, black bar.

Maybe you could try and disable your mediaelements player plugin, since the player is now included in wordpress by default.

Yea, I tried that. Didn’t make a difference. I also tried to back date it with an older version. Still didn’t make a difference.

In defense of SermonBrowser, I believe it’s not the problem of this plugin.
Your site is a mess. You have several different stylesheets for the mediaelements player loading on top of each other.
One of those stylesheets is coming from the theme.
Your page loads, I can see the player fine and the next second it’s blasted by another script.
So it’s probably more of a plugin/theme incompatibility problem

I had the issue fixed working with Ben.
So, I went back through checking and troubleshooting.
Extrafino, you are correct about the theme having the built in mediaelements player. Since WP has it built in the theme removed it.
Ben and I had a work around because I believe he too used the same theme.
For anyone else that has the same issue, player on tope of another player and not able to start it playing. Update your theme and deactivate mediaelements player. At least that is what worked for me.
Thanks guys/gals for the support. Let’s hope and pray that SermonBrowser comes back. I think we all agree, we love it!!

Ah good, you got it back working.
Since you had contact with Ben, do you have any way to contact him to maybe revive the site and the forum on it?

Yea, tried that. No reply :/

I tried to contact Mark, same thing. Thanks for trying, anyway
