• I am using the origami theme with page builder although I recall it being called something like “panels by siteorigin” when plugin added. Anyway had a message saying the plugin had been deactivated and it not now even present in my list of plugins.

Weirdly the layout of my site is unaffected but I am nervous about updating or editing anything else as the pagebuilders panels are not present.

Can anyone please explain what has happened and also what I can/should do about this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi jmkt

    Thanks for reaching out.

Page Builder was previously called Panels. Due to legacy naming challenges the folder in /plugins/ is still called siteorigin-panels.

I think you’d see this de-activation message if Page Builder was deleted on your server without being de-activated from within WordPress. If Page Builder is no longer showing under Plugins in your WordPress admin you can re-install from Plugins > Add New. We’d recommend that you do that. Your Page Builder content should then be restored.
