    Hello Team,

currently I cannot access my wp-admin or website for an unknown reason. I am trying to figure out what the problem is and believe it might be caused by a plugin. In order to see if it is a plugin problem I will have to disable all my plugins from my PHP Admin (c panel). If I disable powerpress will my podcast episodes be removed from apple and google podcasts? What happens to my RSS? Will it save all the power press settings so that when I activate it again everything is as it was? Also is there a way to backup my RSS Feed?

    Thanks for the help.

PowerPress stores all of its settings and information in your WordPress database. Deactivating the plugin will remove your Podcast Episodes from your podcast RSS feed. If certain syndication points like Apple Podcasts happen to check your feed during the deactivation period, they may delist your show, assuming that the feed is down/broken. There’s really nothing you can do to combat that other than have the plugin deactivated for the shortest possible time.

    Hey Shawn,

thanks for the reply. So if I activate PowerPress again will the episodes be added back on the RSS Feed automatically? Or what will I have to do? If I get delisted by syndication points would I just have to re-submit the feed to like Apple? Would this also delete all my podcast reviews too?

    Thanks for all the help

The Podcast Episodes should come back on their own. The only syndication point you’d likely get delisted from is Apple Podcasts. If that happens, click the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page and explain what happened and they should reactivate your listing:
