    Hi,

On my developer site that is running locally, I always deactivate plugins that I don’t want to run.

Then I checked the SendGrid app and it was still sending emails. So decided to delete the plugin but it still sends emails through SendGrid!

A little scary, now manually removing data from the db.

  • Were you able to find what files the SendGrid plugin modifies? I am also trying to undo any changes the plugin may have made.

I’m not trying to remove the plugin, just want to deactivate it on my dev environment.

    Hi @joschen,

Can you please check again the emails sent through your SendGrid account? They most probably come from other source. Once the plugin deactivated, the emails are not send through SendGrid anymore.

Please let us know if you have any other questions,

    Thx for the reply.

Well used only fake emails on my dev site and when I saw these emails in my SendGrid activity (obviously deferred since fake). The plugin disabled, I then decided to delete it, still continued to send using SendGrid.

I’ve found a solution by running MailCatcher on my dev environment.

    Not sure what’s going on!

    Hi,

Maybe you have deleted the plugin in a wrong way or from a wrong place (I don’t see how that would happen, but still…). It is impossible to still send via SendGrid after disabling the plugin.

    Thank you,
    SendGrid
